MS Enrichment Programs Schedule 2012-2013
Here is an example of an exciting enrichment experience by our students this year as described by Mr. Banos:
"Again in 2013, Captain Robert Curbeam a former NASA astronaut and Captain in the United States Navy, volunteered to meet with our grade eight students. Captain Curbeam offered a detailed PowerPoint presentation to students and talked to them about his experiences as an astronaut. Everyone in the audience, teachers, administrators and students alike were hanging on every word, as Captain Curbeam explained in detail his adventures during spacewalks and other experiences in space travel. The students were fully engaged and asked some great questions during the question and answer period of the presentation. " """
The Shakespeare Now theatre group will present Romeo and Juliet to our 8th graders.
