Stoneham Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SSPED-PAC) Mission Statement

The Stoneham Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SSPED-PAC) provides education to parents and the broader community on Special Education issues and services.

It works towards the understanding of respect, support and appropriate education for all children with special needs in our community and to insure those students’ needs under Chapter 766 and other applicable laws are being met.

In addition, the PAC provides informational forums to parents, educators, students and professionals on issues related to education. The PAC also advises and confers with the Director of Student Services.

Membership is open to parents/guardians of children who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP), 504 or any learning differences. We are a resource for support, networking and information organization. Becoming a member can help you and others become an effective advocate for children in our community.
