2019 Carnival Ball
For the ninety-second time, the Town of Stoneham will celebrate Carnival Ball. On Friday, March 8, at 3:15 pm and Saturday, March 9, at 7:00 pm, the students of SHS will perform for family and friends. Tickets for the Friday matinee (no reserved seating) are $5.00, while tickets for the Saturday grand performance (reserved seating) are $10.00.
This year, the show will be hosted by talented seniors Angela DiLeo and Molly McNulty. They will be exploring the differences between Disney and Nickelodeon, which will make for a fun-filled evening.
Katelyn Brennan will direct the show as well as produce a few video clips and performances. David Levine will handle all the technical aspects.
King, Stephen Chatelle, and Queen, Grace Gill, will preside over the Royal Court that consists of ushers: Evan Celli, Kyle O’Connor, Sean O’Connor, Eoin Dooley, Julio Santana, Kevin McShane, Sam Labossiere, Sean Dunham, Eli Yoder and Walter Conway; as well as attendants: Bridget Tracy, Erin Wesley, Ashley Desameau, Madeline West, Kayla Hennesey, Czenilriene Santander, Rachel Pelosi, Gabriela Viera-Owens, Kelly Powers and Lindsey Desameau.
Vocalists, Isabella Guarino and Greta Hall, will be accompanied by our acclaimed house band consisting of Ross Blauvelt, Ezra Walsh and Noah Walsh.
Teagan Parker and Shannon Tracy will provide a special music video. A dance number featuring Alexa Delling, Meghan Lapery, Erica Surabian, Kenna Sharpe and Eva Feliciano surely will be a big hit.
As usual, the SHS band, chorale and acapella groups will perform music inspired by Disney and Nickelodeon. The four classes will provide some satirical comedy. Last, but not least, in the program will be the Senior Waltz, a tradition that has been performed yearly since 1927. We hope many will attend this celebration!
